Announcements:

  • The next round of A.D. Williams applications are due February 1, 2012. Please download applications from this website.
  • A.D. Williams multi-school research applications are also due February 1, 2012. These awards require research collaborations between two or more MCV campus schools. Please download instructions and applications from this website.

The A.D. Williams family left a generous bequest to support medical scholarship and research at Virginia Commonwealth University. In addition, the MCV Foundation manages endowment funds specifically designated for medical research or research into specific diseases or conditions.

The purpose of the A.D. Williams program is to support work that is likely to lead to extramural funding and a sustained program of research. We encourage any full-time faculty member in one of the five schools on VCU’s MCV Campus who is doing basic, clinical/translational and population-based research to submit an application.
